About Daljan
This picture of my grandmother, masi's and mom opening gifts amongst a Christmas tree and a Guru Nanak picture encapsulates Daljan. The seamless integration of two differing cultures.
Daljan utilizes storytelling to showcase its Western and Indian influenced jewelry collections.
The name is a combination of my grandma and bibiji’s names: Dalwinder and Harbhajan. Both women immigrated to Canada, after spending many years of their lives in India.
Not only did I admire how they were able to seamlessly blend both cultures throughout their wardrobes. I also admired how they navigated life in a new country with strength, compassion and intelligence.
About the Founder
My full name is Kieran Kaur Hari Bath. I've always loved jewelry, and have been lucky enough to have my family as my style inspirations.
Three things to know about me:
- My friends and family mean everything to me (I have a very large family)
- I started Daljan as a much needed creative outlet between graduating from the Sauder School of Business and starting at the University of Alberta Faculty of Law.
- I began my entrepreneurial journey making planners before starting Dalljan.
